Glenn Beck was not fired

We are disgusted with the how blatant the lies have become among the mainstream media. When news broke that Glenn Beck was parting ways with FOX, media outlets everywhere began using the word fired, and talking about his ratings.

Look at his ratings from Thurs, April 7th, 2011. (TV by the numbers) He destroys the other shows in his 5pm time slot:

FNC GLENN BECK    2,062
CNN SITUATION ROOM    753
MSNBC HARDBALL WITH C. MATTHEWS   797
CNBC FAST MONEY    176
HLN SHOWBIZ TONIGHT   138

The news has reported Beck's viewership #'s has dropped by 25%... well on their best days, many of those reporters have never even come close to the viewers Beck receives, even after his 25% drop. Why don't these reporters talk about their own viewership #'s?!?

Sorry to break the real news, but Glenn Beck was not fired. He chose not to renew his contract. Big difference. He will remain on FOX for another 8 months. In the media business, if a personality is fired, the last thing on Earth the network would do is to keep them on-air!

Glenn Beck earned over $30 Million in 2010. Around $2 Million of that money was from his show on FOX news. He has over 40 employees. He has built a small media empire. He will continue to contribute to FOX news. Do you think Glenn Beck is worried about what the Today Show is talking about?

Please continue to watch the reporting on this. It's so disgustingly false in every way, it makes us wonder if any news story isn't completely FUBAR'd.

We agree that Glenn Beck is an easy target for criticism from his opponents. But if you took the time to watch his show, he continually said not to believe him, but to research the topics on your own. It's interesting what you find when you do.
