One American Family's Survival Pack

Thanks to Sam Frederick, one of the contributing writers for T.A.S., currently finishing his Masters Program in English, for providing us a few ways that his family plans for disaster preparedness. A few of his ideas include:

1. Keeping documents & other contents in waterproof containers.

2. Emergency survival radio

3. Water (1/2 gallon per person, per day)

4. Shotgun (not required, but handy for self-defense)

These items are all very common sense, but if your reading this and you cannot point to these items in your home, then you are not prepared.

Their is so much involved with disaster planning, these are just a few ideas if you haven't started.
