The Irony of Obama Repealing Affirmative Action

WARNING...This is a political, ethical and morally charged post;

Tomorrow is Inauguration Day for President Barrack Obama. We are asking the readers of T.A.S. to comment on whether you think that the African-American society are
provided more or less opportunities than other ethnicity's in America?

Now that America has an African American President, will it now be different for day to day African American's who use the 'race card' for various excuses? We are in no way saying that all, or even a large majority of African American's use the 'race card', but we have personally witnessed the use of it, and it simply perpetuates racism.

Is the excuse that a person is 'Black' or African American no longer the excuse that it was before we had a 'black' President? If you don't know what I'm talking about, or are angry that I'm proposing that some in the African American population use race as an excuse for having to live a harder life, commonly referred to as using the "race card", then you need to get out in society more.

As for the title of this blog, we thought that it captures the theme of this post well, even though as far as we have researched, the subject has not been approached.

Many of our friends, and even contributors to T.A.S. are African American, and are interested to read any comments or thoughts on this subject.

EDITED

After Obama's speech; We greatly enjoyed Obama's speech and hope that he can deliver on his promises.
