If you don't know, the SCO unites six nations - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Its agenda includes energy, transportation, and security issues, as well as combating terrorism and drug trafficking on SCO territory, but the organization's expansion is not at all a minor technical problem.
Pakistan and India have openly expressed their desire to join the SCO. Others are less certain about it. Pakistan, India, Iran, and Mongolia have observer status. Their representatives (from presidents to ministers) regularly attend SCO summits and other events.
To be fair to Russia, a Russian official states “I’m amazed at the West’s failure to acknowledge the fact that it was Georgian armed forces who attacked peaceful civilians in Tskhinvali,” said Mr. Nazarbayev in televised remarks."
We here at TAS will continue to monitor the SCO and what their true agenda is. Perhaps this is the beginning of the formation of the coalition that will be eventually combating the West.

Looking forward to further coverage.
ReplyDeleteI do too. I love the idea of a militia, especially with the way our government now controls our banking system. :( But I will continue to monitor this for for all of the wonderful U.S. citizens. Please tell your friends and family about this blog!
ReplyDeleteIf the SCO is truly just for peace-keeping, I will report that, but I will try my hardest to report only the facts, with no spin or agenda.
Best Wishes, Ethan Hunt.
