Debra Burlingame, sister of Charles “Chic” Burlingame III, pilot of American Airlines flight 77 that was flown unto Pentagon on 9/11, is calling the visit a ‘despicable’ photo op!
Former President Bush as well as Clinton declined invitations to attend today's 9/11 memorial. Many family members of the fallen American's being honored today were outraged by the way Obama and the administration handled the event. They were told it was an opportunity to meet and talk with the president. Turned out it was no more than a photo-op for the President, with no true compassion for the family's. A very contrived event was how one family members described it.
